Renault has a proud history of racing and rallying from the beginning of the automobile. As a pioneer and, innovator introducing new ideas to the world.
In 1978, Renault Sport created the R5 Turbo, then and still today the ultimate pocket rocket. As Renault Sport dominated Formula 1 racing in the 90's, the Sport Spider was created as the purest form of open-air driving. Most recently, Renault is back at recapturing the spirit of the R5 Turbo with the prototype Clio Renault Sport V6 24V.
Sun International has a long tradition of bringing these legendary automobiles from Renault Sport to USA.
Starting in 1982, we succeeded in the complete US program of importation and certification for the R5 Turbo II. We also imported the limited production Sport Spider.
